Handbook on Best Practices on Implementation of Access to Information in Kenya
The Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ) is the oversight agency of the right to access to information as provided for by the Access to Information Act, 2016. The Act requires all public entities and relevant private bodies to disclose information upon public request in line with Article 35 of the Constitution of Kenya. This is not only good for the promotion of democracy and good governance but the socio-economic development of our country. CAJ in partnership with USAID’s AHADI program developed this handbook on Best Practices on the Implementation of the Access to Information Act as a sourcebook for the Commission, public institutions, county governments and the general public.
