Enhancing Civic Space to Enable Voices of Civil Society Actors-”Voices and Agency”

This project is supported by the Kenya Community Development Foundation. The project, “Enhancing Civic Space to Enable Voices of Civil Society Actors” aims to empower civil society actors with voice and agency in governance and development through strengthened enabling environment in Kenya. The main objectives of the project are: 

  1. Targeted CSAs to gain more trust and become more vibrant in influencing development at county level.
  2. Targeted CSAs to actively engage in governance and advocacy processes to enhance development and service delivery at county level.
  3. Collective actions by CSAs to contribute to laws, policies and administrative actions that enhance operating environment for civil society actions

The project is implemented in Kwale, Nairobi, Kakamega, Kisumu, Busia counties and at national level over a period of twelve (12) months.
